  they rebuilt a zz4 motor for me. right off the bat it's knocking also had to have them replace the oil pump because they tried to reuse the old pump and used locktite to hold pick up in and clogged the pressure releaf so blew my filter off. and now they are no where to be found phone don't work and son won't answer or respond to phone calls or messages. paid $1700 for an engine that knocks watch out go else where. sad because I use to really like these guys before up dare stopped by spoke to Jim owner sounds like there was issues with worker while he was taking care of health issues. he gave me his word we will work it out somehow and to check broken valve or rocker will update later

  They took a $4000 deposit from me in February for a 383 build, told 6-8 weeks. Went MIA on me after 12 weeks of nothing and now they are gone...no engine, no money, nada. And I'm not the only one, in my times of staking out the shop ran in to SEVERAL more guys in the same boat, deposits taken and nothing in return going back to last year. IF anyone knows where to find Jim let me know...

  They have taken $7,500 and have dropped or blocked my number because they will not return my calls I have called Jim Larr and James Larr and shop over 60 yes 60 times and they don't answer and don't return calls Don't TRUST them

  IF YOU WANT LOW QUALITY MACHINE WORK AND BEING LIED TO THIS IS THE SHOP TO GO TO, WENT THERE BECAUSE THE REVEIWS APPEARED TO BE GOOD BUT IT WAS THE OPPOSITE HAD TO TAKE MY ENGINE TO OTHER SHOP TO GET IT MACHINED CORRECTLY AND ORANGE ENGINE PAID THAT BILL WHICH TELLS YOU THEY DID INFERIOR WORK, EXAMPLE THEY SURFACE HEADS WITH A TABLE BELT SANDER PLUS I HAD TO INSTALL MY VALVE SRINGS CAUSE THEY DID IT INCORRECTLY. BUYER BE WARE

  I purchased a 454 block from them. They were open and completely upfront on every level. They gave me a good deal on the block. I recommend them and plan on doing future business with Orange Engine.
