  Great environment that seemed to be where locals go to celebrate birthday parties and such. Lots of space and big tables. I tried a "make your own pint" so that I could sample 4 beers. Wasn't impressed with any of them, but they were fine.

  This place offered one of my most memorable experience in Seattle. While shopping around Capitol Hill, I wanted to stop in for some samples. Being early afternoon, there was hardly anyone there, and I was blown away by the space. I also appreciated their "no tipping" and "no cash" policies, since it makes the entire ordering experience so much easier. They have a beautiful unisex restroom layout, which is the sort of thing we wish we could find everywhere. It was so perfect that when we needed somewhere last-minute to get together and play board games that night, I suggested going back, and it was just as incredible as a nighttime hangout. So many people bring in their dogs, and families, and the place just feels so extremely welcoming to anyone and everyone. Beer is quite solid as well, and I love their rotating food trucks system.

  Great place to meet with friends, have some fun, and drink delicious beer. Atmosphere and space is great. Usually a food truck out back, but also a lot of good food options nearby for bringing your own food if you get hungry. Also a great place for families; has a fun little 'kid-cage' with toys and books for the kiddos

  The beers at this place are really fantastic, every beer has a great uniqueness to it! Specialty beers have a nice punch of flavor, and standard beers have a nice twist that sets them clearly apart from other breweries. I'm visiting from the East Coast and I couldn't visit just once, and on the second time I just had to buy a few cans to bring back and share with friends! Their cans are also enormous, in case you wanted to know what a two-pint can looks like! Will make this a mandatory stop any time I'm in the area. Cheers to Optimism!

  While I'd probably give the beers this brewery pumps out 3 stars, the venue itself is outstanding so I'm settling on 4 stars total. The bar itself has a definite Apple Store vibe that I'm not really into, but the spacious dining area with a blend of bench and chair seating is terrific. They've also got the best bathrooms in town. And when they've got an awesome food truck sitting in their courtyard? This place is a slam dunk.
