  Worst hotel I've ever had the experience of dealing with. I booked rooms here for my company for a convention. Two of the rooms I booked had the same confirmation number, even though I received two separate emails with different names, so when one of the guests showed up they couldn't find their reservation and he had to book on the spot. Another guest they could not locate their reservation at all, probably because their legal name is a bit different from the name they go by (similar to the difference between going by Matt, but having the full name Matthew) so they had to book them on the spot as well, but then they charged me one night for a no show. I have had to deal with them for the past week to get receipts for all the staff I booked, because none were emailed after the stay ended. Yes, it has taken them a week of calls to get the receipts emailed to me. Every time I call the staff sounds like they don't want to be there, couldn't care less about their job, and are half asleep. There is no friendliness, no effort at customer service. I would not recommend this hotel, or any of their properties to anyone. My warning to anyone considering, avoid the hassle by booking somewhere else.

  Beautiful pool and grounds. Very near excellent cafes and Woodley metro stop. Short walk to the zoo. Valet parking $52 but text for near immediate pickup. Restaurant on site but we opted for casual cafe. Very kid friendly with gift bag and nightly milk and cookie. Fridge and coffee in room. As for the 4 star rating, the 2 pillows (only 2?!) on my king bed were flatter than pancakes. And did I mention the $52 Valet fee...

  The three of us stayed for three days, sharing a room. It was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and well worth it. The hotel is beautifully landscaped. We checked out really early the day we were leaving, but getting to the airport realized that our flight didn't leave until the afternoon and we had several hours to wait. Rather than hanging out at the airport we called the hotel and they let us return, allowed us a late check out and we could get back into our room so we could wait comfortably and catch up on some needed rest. A big thumbs up! We'd been traveling for 10 days and really had the best experience in this hotel out of all of them!

  The hotel is beautiful. The room was nice. The staff were incredible. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. They have a few local DC brews at the lounge that are great and great bar treats. We checked out of the hotel early in the morning to drop my brother at the airport and continue our trip southward and found out his flight was in the afternoon. They allowed him to go back into the room until the afternoon. They were REALLY cool!!!

  A historic landmark in DC with an outdoor pool and hot tub and plenty of meeting rooms! Great for businesses, family travel and Sunday brunch (we've been here for Easter for the past two years now and couldn't be happier with our experience). Vegetarian options are available (sometimes upon request for buffets; and there is also a quick bite snack shop and coffee as well!). Don't forget to read the historic information before walking in. If you stay here, be sure to check out all the cool architecture, art and rooms!
