This was our second visit to Olsen's. We visited the last time we were in town, and I fell head over heels in love with the place. I adore classic bakeries. I had never seen a glazed croissant, and I didn't think I would like it, but if I did. A lot. This time, we got there around 11, which I know is late. They had only cookies and bear claws left. I was so disappointed. I know better than to go to a place like that so late and expect there to be inventory left. Sad face. It also made me sad because the bear claw wasn't all that good. It was too cakey and didn't have enough almond flavor. The cookies were also subpar. So, I guess it's best to say go early and get the really good stuff before they sell out. They are the sweetest people, and I wish I could visit then more!

Quite possibly the best baked good selection in Omaha; Classic pastries and donuts that are always worth waking up early for. My favorite treat is the frosted croissant but thereโ€™s a lot I havenโ€™t tried yet. Get there early, or all the good stuff will be picked over.

Remember in your youth how things tasted and now that you're that grown-up....... Well Olson's is that place where it doesn't get any better.....it not a chain store.....it's not a grocery store and it's not publicly traded.......but there Donuts are the best dam donut you will ever taste.....so if you remember how good it was when you were a kid.....then stop in a get a dozen.......and if you have children...start the tradition cause they will like em better than candy...did I forget it looks like a donut shop from an era gone by..... don't miss out.... Tony tiger would say ....there gggggrrrrreeeeeaaaaattttt.......

Great little old-time bakery. The ladies are friendly and helpful, and the donuts are divine! They have a perfect glazey-crispyness on the outside, yet the inside is as lite as a delicate French pastry. The glazed croissants are heavenly! Definitely make the trip to this little Omaha gem. You'll be glad you did!

Best donuts I've had in a long time. $2.75 for 3 donuts. Really light and airy, they taste like they might be good for you!
