  I love living so close to Olivinos! Great selection of wines with some rotating brands as well. Lots of wine tastings and a $13 and under table for those on a budget. GREAT selection of sparkling and effervescent wines for such a small place too. They also have a smallish liquor selection that includes liquors distilled in nyc.

  I'm a regular customer at Olivino store and had no problem with them, today I wanted to buy a gift for a friend, I entered the store and the person who set there hardly says hi or offer any help, I'm not familiar with wine at all, another customer entered the store and I asked her opinion on a drink she was buying, all of the sudden the manger starting tell me that he works there and that if I need to ask any thing I should ask him I'm felt like I was told off but I side sorry anyway (he never offer any help to start with) he started to tell me how he has 16 years of experiences and basically telling me his resume, when I decided to the buy the wine he asked me for ID I didn't have it on me, he refused to sale me the wine, which fine with me is the law but What I find very to get that the manager never asked the other customer for her ID ,he is excuse was he know here and her family, that he is french and me as a foreigner which I'm not I should have my Id, he was raising his voice and acting very rude. as far as I know, THE LAW ABOVE ALL . Good prices for the wine, most of the staff are friendly when I been there but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place for his poor management .

  Decent selection of wine from a variety of regions including organic and biodynamic options. A fair few options around the $10 price point. The spirits selection is limited but includes mostly craft and local products. Their spirit prices run about 10-20% higher than places like Astor's but it is more convenient if you live in the area. You have to be buzzed in which speaks more to the neighborhood's past than present. They do periodic wine tastings but you have to be one their mailing list to find out about them.
