  It’s definitively one of my favorite spots on Long Island. The atmosphere there is just suitable for anyone of any age. Their landscape is very well structured and it is a very photogenic place if you love taking radical pictures ( like I do) the price is reasonable which I like a lot. If you love history this is one of the places on Long Island you MUST not miss. This mansion is the clear example of the gilded age of Long Island along with the OHEKA castle and Vanderbilt mansion.

  Really nicely preserved mansion with very impressive grounds and history. There are tours in which you can see most of the rooms in the house. There are special seasonal events such as the Christmas tree lighting.

  Amazing place to spend the day, walking around nature and traveling through history inside the mansion, where they keep a very well maintained and pretty museum (just like a house, with all those luxurious details!). This sweet man in the mansion had great stories to share! Have in mind that entrance fee is per person, not car!

  I was there on dog day. It's so beautiful there!! Everyone having their dogs with them made even better. It was a great way to spend a Sunday. I found out they serve High Tea there too! I'm definitely going back for that. There are many other events there...check it out.

  Dog weekend 2018 was a wonderful experience. So many dogs and dog lovers in one place. The gardens are almost ready to pop for spring. The entryway bare trees sheer stature was breathtaking. The massive staff was kind and helpful. The grounds are immaculately kept. Can't wait to go back when the other gardens are in bloom.
