  This is a very clean restaurant, the wait is always reasonable the staff is polite, and the home-style cooking is consistent. Their menu has a great variety with something for everyone. I would say a gem of a restaurant. One of tucsons best kept secrets. A must try

  I am in love with this place & will definitely return. I had a biscuit & some grits the other day. The biscuit looked like cornbread but tasted like a fluffy cloud. The grits were like my granny made so I was pleasantly surprised. They are reasonably priced, quick service, & clean.

  We love this place !My husbsnd an I eat breakfast here often .We have never had to wait for a table,which isn't saying they aren't busy because most of the time they are.Traffic moves fast here so tables open fast.The wait staff are most pleasant and know their menu. They are generous with refills on coffee and drinks. They will accommodate the menu to meet your needs. They have a large room to accommodate a large party up to about 25 or little more also. This place is old and tired looking and is an old house converted to a restaurant . The food and service make up for it all that. Love their biscuits they are square shape cake like in texture, but yet they taste like a biscuit. Portion are ample and you are full when u leave.

  First time visiting Tucson - loved the cafe. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. We had great service and good food. We will eat here again before we leave the area.

  endless coffee is always nice, although this coffee was pretty watered down. the $5 egg breakfast really isn't a bad deal. basic 2 eggs, hash browns, toast. everything is slathered in butter though. even the eggs? the staff is super sweet. & the decor is super entertaining.
