  Best coffee shop in downtown Portland! Homemade caramels of all kinds! Ice cream, lavender, hazelnut and salted! Highly suggest stopping by if your in the area!

  Am in from out of town and was looking for a local coffee shop. I picked Oak Street because of the good reviews and location. The owner certainly was creative in setting the shop up in a former parking lot attendants booth. Michelle was fun to talk to and the cafe latte was top notch. The muffin and oatmeal were great too. This isn't the place you are going to go with your laptop and get work done, but if you are looking for an awesome cup of coffee I would highly recommend.

  Probably the best barista I've ever met. I look forward to buying coffee/espresso here on a weekly basis.

  Okay! New favorite coffee place! I'm just mad that I moved from downtown before this little cart opened up. The owner (I'm assuming it was the owner?) made the special Vegan for me and it was absolutely delicious! Also the medium sized coffee I ordered was HUGE! I usually leave a coffee shop feeling like I didn't quite get enough, not the case for Oak St! Not only was my coffee amazing but it was made lickety-split! Granted there weren't any orders ahead of me, but damn! I've never had a coffee taste so good and be made so quickly. I usually never leave reviews but since this is a new business and the coffee is so good I really wanted to.

  Absolutely awesome service, amazing coffee, and outstanding prices. Bonus: The owner is super nice and lovely to chat with.
