  The place is usually kinda dirty, with flies in the summer. The fruits are rarely fresh. The prices are high. Until whites moved into the neighborhood, there was an $8.00 minimum to use a card. The owner still isn't very friendly to blacks. The upside is that they are opened 24 hours. Their ATM charges the lowest fee to get your money (they can't be beat for blocks).

  BEST AVOCADOS. Super sweet cats. Sweet employees. A solid beer & grocery selection. All available to you 24/7, 365. Manage your expectations (it's a bodega, not Whole Foods) and you'll have a neighborhood go-to.

  You need to try their mangos! (Just save me some). Great selection of things, sometimes the same stuff as Wholesome Foods, but cheaper! Also lovely bodega cats (that are not for sale).
