  Highly recommended program with exceptionally qualified staff. Overall my monthly utility expenses have decreased by $250.

  Excellent program. I recommend it to anyone especially because it's free. They saved my life by fixing heating system. They insulated my home and my heating bill went down and had to use ceiling fan the whole winter. I also received a free freezer which big enough for me to lay in it and go to sleep.

  THIS IS NOT A GIMMICK, IT IS A LEGITIMATE PROGRAM: I would like this company to know how grateful I am for the services performed at my home. The Inspectors, came and checked the windows, the doors, and other things necessary. The contractors, and everyone involved with the process were extremely professional. The work teams came to my home at 8:30 a.m. as scheduled. They insulated the attic, weatherized the doors and windows, installed LEDs, programmable thermostats, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They were in and out of my home in one day. My home is now very warm and comfortable. I was very impressed that the workers cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend NYS Energy Audits to my neighbors, my friends, and relatives. Thank you for a job well done.

  Excellent services, very attentive stuff. Insulation was done in one day and you can feel significant difference right after. It's sad that people like anonymous lady below does not understand that drilling holes in boiler flue pipe has been done to test unit for health and safety issues and it does not effect the work of the boiler itself. It is in our interest to live in a safety homes, but I guess everybody makes their own decisions.

  I am very disappointed after reading the reviews that no one said the real deal on this place. I am not certain if these are family friends (there are only three reviews on Google) or what. Basically, this program is a scam. I filled out the application and two men arrived wanting to take pictures of areas in my place that had nothing to do with weatherization and drill holes in my new boiler, which absolutely didn't need to be weatherized. When I said no it is a new boiler less than 5 years (they should do that) they told me if they couldn't drill a hole in the boiler than they wouldn't do the work. So, basically they are there to undermine the home improvements you are trying to get done in your home. They had no clue that if something is new that it doesn't need to be weatherized brand new items are usually energy efficient. They just need to look up the name of the company and they will see how their product line is stellar. The impression that my family was left with is that they come and do this so called audit, which is like an inspection (more or less) to get you to sign on with one of their friends for contractual work on the side. If I am getting a new job done why would I need to weatherize. I am writing this because I really don't want some unsuspecting person to be fooled by these people. I could only imagine them going after senior citizens and people who are not fluent in English or do not know home improvement. They should really be embarrassed of themselves and appreciative that they have a contract with the state. Try not to blow it guys. Don't ever scam home owners in what they work so hard for 5 to 6 days a week. I am writing this review because I care.
