::My knee pain and fears are almost gone thanks to the stellar coaches in the Strength & Conditioning classes! With constant encouragement (and modifications when needed) I am now able to lunge and squat confidently again because I have developed so many supporting muscles (for tight hams & quads). Inclusive & inspiring community has been a motivator during this endless winter that will help me jog safely into summer.

::I have never been one to enjoy studio fitness -- I never feel like I'm in shape or cool enough to be part of the crew. Actually, let's be honest, I have never been one to enjoy fitness in general. I have always struggled with my weight, and exercise was the fifth circle of hell. However, all that changed when I decided to try Nuboxx on a whim last August. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff and coaches have been nothing but welcoming, friendly and encouraging. The class maxes out at 12 people, and so you always get a significant amount of personal attention. The coaches take care to learn your name and a little bit about you, and it really seems like they genuinely care about your form and progress. The classes are challenging, but I think they do a good job of scaling it so that any fitness level can participate. And more than that, it's FLIPPIN' FUN -- who among us doesn't want to just let loose and punch some things in these trying times we're living in. Since I've become a regular, I've lost a ton of weight and I notice a big difference in my core muscles. I highly recommend this place!

::Nuboxx is the best workout I’ve ever done. It’s a combination of real, technical boxing and strength and conditioning. I actually look forward to working out every day. I love Nuboxx!

::The owner is very shady. I signed up for a one week unlimited trial and stayed for a double a few times and she had someone call me and say the one week trial only includes one class a day. Then within 10 minutes they called me back and apologized saying "it was an error on their end" and they have to update the website to say "only one class a day"... so essentially "it's not my fault because I didn't know." Then I find out they charged my card 15 dollars for not making it to a class I signed up for. Way to treat a first time guest. Horrible business practice and money hungry. Learn customer service and learn how to treat your guests! I was planning on joining but that totally turned me off and rubbed me the wrong way. Thanks but no thanks. Going to try out UFC.✌🏽

::Not the nicest people. Workout was a bit generic and been done before. I feel like they really only cater to people who are fit. I didn't feel included at all. Workouts were not really challenging- I've been to a lot of boxing studios and this was pretty sub-par. It's pretty clear the owners don't know much about boxing, much less about fitness in general. You should be able to answer basic questions about physiology if I'm asking what the exercise is going to achieve for me! Also, very pricey! There are more reasonably priced studios in DC with boxing options!
