::New York Public Library St. Agnes branch is a great local library branch in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It has two main floor and is usually appropriately quiet. Some school children use library after school and they're good selections for kids books as well as adults.

::Helpful, quick staff. Library is often clean and orderly. Generally quiet, unless a children's reading group is present. Hold shelves are on the second floor, with dvd/cd holds at the second floor help desk.
