  Things have definitely changed since this location opened, but I find the selection and staff continue to meet and sometimes exceed expectation.

  I've been brewing 6 years. There has been one time, only one, they didn't have what I needed. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff.

  Military and Veteran discount is a huge positive. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Ordered two beer kits and they messaged me when they came in 2 days later! Will be back.

  Northern Brewer used to have great customer service but not anymore. Currently I am 10 days into a customer service request, and my last two emails requesting information have been entirely ignored for days. You'd think customer issues regarding gas fittings would be of some concern to retailers who sell such products. But no response at all, not even an automated response, for 10 days and counting. I was ultimately forced to contact the manufacturer directly rather than going through the retailer (Northern Brewer) because these guys just ignore customer service requests. For the record Blichmann Engineering was extremely helpful, so I know the request I made to Northern was clearly a completely valid request (also within their entirely useless one year quality guarantee)... but Northern Brewer's customer service is like a bad joke. If I buy top notch equipment I expect customer service to be top notch.... but Northern Brewer service is most certainly not.
