  If i could give a zero, i would. this company took over 1 month for the actual delivery with no updates whatsoever. I was given 4-5 days as an estimated delivery too. when the furniture finally arrived there was many damaged items and even broken items. The driver name Danny was forcing me to pay in cash before he could put the furniture into the house. When i didn’t agree, he took the stuff and put it into a storage unit. When i gave up and paid in cash before he could put it into the house, i found out that my items were damaged and broken.

  If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I normally don't write reviews but this company was so awful in the way I was treated that I feel I need to share so everyone can understand what they are getting into. I chose Red Van Lines because the reviews were great and the cost was reasonable compared to other places. They picked up my stuff on 10/30/17 and I was told it would be delivered in 14 business days from earliest delivery date. 14 business days passed, no delivery and no call from the company. I proceeded to call them and they said I was misinformed and the delivery is anywhere between 14-21 business days. OK sure I can accept another 7 days, no big deal. 21 Business days arrived and surprise surprise, no delivery and again NO CALL. I then called them asking where my stuff was and they didn't know. They called the truck driver and called me back and this is what they said, "Your truck broke down in California and we have to wait for another truck to come and pick up your stuff. We can't give you an estimate time of delivery until the second truck arrives". Needless to say I received absolutely zero updates from the company or the expected drivers. ZERO! If I didn't call them who knows when I would have received my stuff. All they had to do was email me with updates saying they are doing what they can, but apparently that is too much to ask for. Regardless, my stuff was finally delivered on 12/27/17, almost 2 months after pickup! So, the guys who delivered my stuff mentioned they left the East Cost about 2 weeks prior with my stuff on the truck!!! For all those paying attention right now, RED VAN LINES LIED about where my stuff was. Not to mention that a bunch of my stuff was broken, and the claim service they provide gave me next to nothing back. The total money I am getting back isn't even a quarter of what I lost. Take it from someone that they screwed over, pay a little more and use someone else.

  The sales rep was very nice and professional at the moment of me getting the contract after that she never had time. They came to pick up my stuffs the day I was told, the worst was that at the day of my delivery the was a speaker loss that cost 1000. plus my fire place is broken meaning it does no work at all. No one knows about it and the guys that did the delivery harass me to give them tips. I do not recommend this company to any one. And to this day a month latter no one has done anything for me. I have to wait 3 months for an answer from the insurance that only pay .60 cents per pound.
