I must admit I do llove the rack only because they have one of the best return policies in the retail industry. What I don't like. About the rack is most of the clothing are cheap Chinese made plastic items with other people's names in insignia, emblem and blazin on them and most are extremely over priced. extremely over, but if you do your due diligence, you can find some good deals., Today after going to a hospital visit with my dad I stopping at the locals Nordstrom's Rack on my way home only only to have the manager have store s security follow me around the store now just in case this manger isn't awhere racial profiling is illegal no matter who does it and it's even sadder when black people do it to others

I'm very disappointed with my experience tonight at Nordstrom Rack. I'm in town for a work conference and was excited when I discovered that my hotel, Marriot Marquis, was in close proximity to Nordstrom Rack. I've visited this location on previous travels and was excited about shopping tonight. I didn't buy anything this time, it was closing time, but as I was leaving I'm on my cell talking to my fiancΓ© and the 'security guard' says, "Where's the stuff you bought?" I look back at him and say, "excuse me?". He repeats his question--I tell him, "uhh...I didn't buy anything what are you talking about?" He asks again, "Where's the stuff you bought here?" I tell him, "What are you talking about? I didn't purchase anything". At this point he hesitates, and that is when I notice his ear piece. Well...I'm familiar with the ear piece thingy--I worked in at Old Navy in college and I can recall the discussions that were had over those ear pieces. Pretty much profiling people who we suspected of going to take something. I'm sure the incredulous look on my face made him think twice about what he was asking...especially because it was obvious someone was talking to him through the ear piece while I was standing there. I leave to go outside and another shopper that was initially walking out with me asks, "What gives? Really?" I agreed with her. Then I thought, "hey, he didn't ask HER that." So I go back in and ask for his name. He refuses to give me his name but it doesn't matter. He was a hispanic or asian male. I'm writing this review to inform Nordstrom Rack of this incident. Please train your employees better. I worked in retail back in the day and his line of questioning was dumb and inappropriate. The entire time the REAL officer never said a word to me, but this guy with a security badge was questioning me. I'm still not sure what he was trying to do, but needless to say I left offended. Great job profiling visitors to San Francisco. Made my trip here memorable.

The best store ever! Shoes! Clothes! If you don't have a trust fund, a clothing designer parent, or parents from Dubai but have expensive taste for the finer things in life then this is the place... (I'm sure the trust fund babies, and the later two shop there as well...fyi πŸ˜‰)

Wow such a bad service! Never experienced something like this. They treated me a liar! I bought a pair of shoes yesterday and asked if I can return it as I was hesitating. One of the price tags on a left shoe was kind of dirty, mostly went off. Anyway the cashier (the blond guy) told I could return it. NEXT day I am coming back to return it. Another cashier is telling me ( with a big smile "i got you" ) that I wore them, because they don’t sell the shoes with the price tags like that. He called his manager to talk to me. But the manager also told I wore them! By chance there was the same guy from yesterday, I told him : "hey you told me I could return these shoes" this guy looks at me and says "No no it is not possible we don't sell the shoes like this". I had to insist to return them and I couldn't have my cash back instead they gave some kind of gift card with money on it. They didn't want to listen to me and treated me as I was a liar : they kept telling me that I wore the shoes while I didn't. Plus they made this smart conclusion because one of the price tags on the sole of one of the shoes was half ripped off- yes i wore only one shoe guys! Worst shopping/people experience.
