I understand the whole idea of the restaurant is to go back to basics and have a menu that caters to that. Being vegetarian, I ordered a noodle bowl and was surprised to be served boiled noodles in water (no flavor or sauce). On pointing it out, they immediately replaced it with what I thought was pizza which ended up being a thin whole grain base with spotty cheese and minimal toppings. I left disappointed but I must say the staff is exceptional. They were very respectful and replaced the dishes that I did not like. High rating for customer service.

A very quite little restaurant, that you are greeted as you come in, we were sat next to the fireplace, and offered a shot of healthy Olive oil, that was delicious, the olive oil had a spicy note but a very light flavor. We had the guacamole with bacon, and pizza crust chips. This appetizer was awesome. For dinner we had Goat Cheese, and pistachio crusted salmon, with arugula salad and an olive oil dressing. Very delicious, and I would get it again. We also had ordered brussel sprouts, they were tender, with a light crunch. It was a very nice dinner, and I will definitely make the hour drive to come back! Thank you for the hospitality Nook!

So happy to find this place. Great tasting food, locally sourced and made 100% in house. Service was amazing and ambiance was welcoming. Would recommend this place to Diabetics in the Indianapolis area. I was traveling and only in town for work but every chance I get I will return and give these people my business because you cannot find a place like this anywhere. I will be back here for lunch tomorrow and look forward to more delicious food.

I thought this idea was a refreshing and unique take to Indy's food scene. Indianapolis already has a lot of unique restaurants that have a fresh, all-natural, local, or vegetarian take on breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, Nook has a unique menu with options that cater to a broad range of dietary preferences and needs! I ordered the salmon taco and the brussel sprouts, which were two small plates. I felt like it was more than enough for just myself, and it was wonderful to eat such tasty food while knowing this food is nutritional and healthy for me!! I love unique tasting dishes, and there are a lot of them here. If you enjoy trying new flavor combinations, this is the place for you! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I loved the interior aesthetic of it all. between the server, our meals, and the atmosphere here on a Saturday night, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed Nook!! I definitely will be back for the deserts and small plates, I loved it here!

We were excited to find this place and were not disappointed!! The variety was fantastic. The service was very professionally friendly. The food was flavorful. Most of my family as to eat gluten free for medical reasons (and one has to eat Paleo). The whole family was delighted! (Even my ANTI-gluten-free niece and nephew were able to find something that they could enjoy.)
