::Nomu is located in the Roderick Artspace lofts, and a DIY wood cut decorated space. This is no doubt in part being connected to a maker space lab next door. The owner also clearly also took inspiration from their time living in Japan and touches of the influence are seen in the space in addition to the establishment's name. Service and drinks are fine, but the barista's seem to be slow with service and method of preparation seemed to be largely inefficient, using a small battery powered frother at times to incorporate drink syrups/mixes rather than just putting it under the steam wand. I watched at least one customer walk out on account of the wait. No complaints, but nothing I'd rave about either - perhaps a bit better than your average coffee chain, in that they serve up pizzas and other food items if you want a one stop shop to sit down an unwind.

::The space is great, creative vibes (I love the wall painting of a Japanese street scene), open all around with a light breeze going. Drinks were good. I had a macchiatto, others in my group had tea. I enjoyed the tranquil pace of the place.

::This new café downtown is one of a kind. they offer vegan options which is an awesome thing. the staff is very friendly and will get you the drink you need. the tea options are endless as they have all sorts of great organic flavors. they also have a nice wine and beer selection with open door patio seating which is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
