::The animals are very healthy and the environment is also very comfortable. I bought ball pythons and geckos today. I am very happy. The staff is very friendly. Thanks Megan. She taught me how to improve this breed. I will come again.

::Awesome exotic pet shop. They have a good variety of animals. They have mammals, reptiles and invertebrates. Even more important the staff were friendly, patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. And unlike most pet stores you can also handle many of the creatures.

::They have some unusual animals, but the place is a pigsty and the staff is a mixed bag, some more helpful than others and all as unkempt as the place itself. They're just lucky there isn't another exotic pets place within 20 miles or they'd be out of business. Two stars for the diversity of creatures, though I wouldn't trust any of them to be healthy. UPDATE: I've changed my review from 2 to 4 because the owner's response is correct. I've visited the store again and it does appear cleaner, and the staff is more attentive. Good for you guys, and I appreciate the non-defensive response, and any business owner that takes customer feedback seriously and makes changes to address concerns. A cleaner environment combined with a more attentive staff and a very interesting and unusual selection of animals should make for a great new NJ Pets. Best of luck, guys.

::Best exotic pet retailer in the area! You can usually get a wide assortment of exotic creatures at this place ranging from simple snakes and lizards and ferrets, to hedgehogs, sugar gliders , pigs and even skunks. They sell everything that you'll need to take care of any animals they have and the staff is very well trained and informative, especially Megan who seems to be known by pretty much anyone with an exotic pet in the area, I can't tell you how many people I've met that say they know her. Even if you aren't in a position to take care of any of these animals it is still well worth a visit to get you're fill on some interesting wildlife. Definitely a place not to skip out on.

::Love coming here. The people genuinely care about the animals in the store. I've adopted 2 ferrets and I bring them back regularly for nail clipping and ear cleaning. They are so good with them! They are very knowledgeable about the exotic animals and don't just sell them and not follow up. If you can't keep the animal they will re-home him/her for you. You agree to this when you buy from them. I agree with this policy bc it's better for the animals. I highly recommend this store over the commercial pet co or pet value type stores.
