  Love this business and the family that operates It! The quality of food and service are amazing. My mother and I visit on our return trips to Del Rio each time we visit San Antonio, if at all possible. They package our to go orders as though WE were family and everything is prepared exquisitely. It appears they have a very loyal following. From the outside you would never expect the ambience indoors. The market next door is affiliated and has the same level of commitment and hospitality.

  First visit tonight- it is exactly what the best (and some of the worst) reviews state. Great, authentic food with few frills but excellent taste. Like many of the best restaurants in town, you'll find yourself quickly excusing the dated interior/ sketchy exterior when you taste the food. Looking forward to my next visit!

  The food is delicious, service is amazing, very clean . I go there every year for my birthday. They offer seating at the bar, western seating (at a table) or eastern style (seating on the floor at a table). Traditional. Private rooms. Our waiter was amazing, always has a story and makes you feel welcome.

  My Son, and I have been to Japan at different times during military service. This restaurant is truly Japanese. The atmosphere, the workers, and the Japanese food. My son and I agree that it is at least as good as the Japanese food that you find in Japan itself. AWESOME!

  Food and service were both top notch. Christine had great timing with service and Patrick kept us grinning with his great sense of humor. He also shared a great deal of culture and knowledge along with the laughs. The atmosphere is very relaxing and unhurried. Perfect for a date.
