Fantastic food with an intimate ristorante feel. Dinner prices are ~$20 and above, and glasses of wine start at ~$8. Very attentive staff with quick service! Also, definitely consider making a reservation to guarantee quick seating. Bonus - they serve delicious bread and olive oil with olives in it before they bring out your dinner. Enjoy!

NTI, a 10,000 strong nursing conference was in town yesterday so traffic in the N End was busy. Our first choice was the owner's other restaurant but it was booked solid. There was a deuce in the basement that had room for us. The gnocchi was very good per my husband. The sauce was homemade with low acidity. The shrimp dish was very bland and loaded with cremini mushrooms. The food was piping hot when served. I just was not overly pleased. I've had better Italian back home in Philly.

Very nice restaurant, with fairly generous portion sizes, and tasty food. I can personally recommend the spaghetti. If there's a downside, it's that the restaurant is physically small. Depending on what table you get, you may find it difficult to pull out your chair -- it will back right into another person's seat. Still. A really nice option for a date. I probably wouldn't go here with a group.

I loved the welcoming ambience. The staff was friendly, courteous and on top of their game. The food... OH THE FOOD!!! It was heavenly delicious, everything was so fresh and tasty and very well made. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful. I frequent the North End for dinner and found that Nico has become one of my favorites. Ordered the fish special of the day and it was incredible. Our tiramisu dessert (which our waiter surprised us with since we were celebrating our anniversary, how sweet!) was also delicious. The atmosphere is modern but authentic, and the service is great. Highly recommend!!
