::Today I got a pair of snowboarding boots and a ski mask from Next Adventure. The guy there was very very helpful and he answered all of my questions about boots and fit. I also brought my snowboard in and he adjusted my bindings for me... for FREE! Everyone that worked there helped me to the best of my ability although some had a few mishaps as far as location of items, but it's a HUGE store, so that's very understandable. Also if you go there, remember to ask about sale prices because I almost paid $35 for a ski mask, but asked if they had a sale on it and they said they did, so it brought it down to around $22. So remember to ask about sale prices 👍

::Going to India. Staff EXTREMELY HELPFUL to help us find a perfect backpack for our trip. We also got shoes that were very reasonable ($109). This place has prices comparable to deals one would get online. My husband researching while we were in the store and Next Adventure price the same or even lower than found on Amazon. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about everything that we bought today. This place is amazing!?

::This is a fine outdoor shop with a wide variety of outdoor gear and clothing. Prices are suggested retail except for the bargain basement with a chaotic collection of amazing secondhand gear for cheap. The return policy gets you store credit, not cash back. Upstairs is mostly backpacking equipment and they have lots of stoves and good prices on propane canisters. The ground floor is full of clothing, shoes, skiing and climbing gear. If you're bargain hunting in the basement you will need lots of time to browse, or better yet, return regularly until what you want appears. Some of the staff are not as deeply trained in their areas as I would like, as I got some bad advice in the ski department one time and then shoddy service from the binding mounting shop...but they made it as right as they could. There was a lot of running back and forth involved which could have been avoided if the original employee had known his stuff better. When the staff is running full tilt it can be hard to find help anywhere in the store. They work hard. The paddling shop and paddling staff are very much a part of our local whitewater community. Their Get Out and Paddle trips and summer Wednesday trips to the Clackamas are a strong contribution.

::I must say, this place is amazing. There's a huge selection of brand name items upstairs. Downstairs? Now, that is the treasure hunt. Mostly previously owned items on the lower level, there are so many wonderful things down there I never know where to begin. They have everything from dog toys and hiking coats for dogs to camping gear and ski coats, boats and fishing gear for people...... Oh this place is a wonderland. I could spend hours in there. Parking is not easy, as it is street parking only, but it's worth it.

::Great place. Always fun to go dig through the second hand merchandise downstairs. I've found some really amazing deals. The staff is always friendly. If you have outdoor great that you don't use anymore I recommend taking it there. They give you a respectable amount of store credit depending on the condition, the brand and the item itself. Some items are more sought after than others so they'll, naturally, give you more store credit for those items. Love this place!
