  Awesome selection of geek-ware, books, clothes, swag. Friendly, helpful staff. The most fun in the mall.

  Despite having "comics" in its name, Newbury Comics is more of a pop culture gift shop than a comic book store. It's definitely not a replacement for your local comic shop. The selection of new comics (floppies) is fairly small, with only two or three racks devoted to them. Graphic novels fare a bit better. The store had just about any classic graphic novel I could think of. When I was there they had a "buy 2 graphic novels get 1 free" promotion, which was a great deal. Where the store really excels is in its selection of pop culture gifts — t-shirts, mugs, refrigerator magnets, Funko Pop figures, etc. If you're a pop culture aficionado it's a blast just to browse the merchandise.

  Visited Newbury comic books store and has an extremely pleasant overall experience. I was helped by Leah, who knew exactly what I was looking for and was extremely friendly and resourceful. This shop is a blessing to the area and I would highly recommend a visit.
