  Staff is quite unpleasant to work/get information from. For the most part, they are unamused and seem to hate their jobs. The astroturf section is quite small. Otherwise, weights, machines and cardio are fine.

  Great gym if you're just looking to workout and don't need the overpriced hype of a "premium" experience. My one complaint is member gym etiquette. Seems like most everyone thinks it's ok to not put weights away after using them and the dumbbell rack is completely a disorganized mess. Locker room is large, clean and well maintained.

  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I rented a locker at NYSC Mercer and due a lack of training from their employee they gave me a locker that was not supposed to be for rental. 5 months after using it they cut my lock and took all my belongings. (3 pairs of shoes, clothing, shampoo, hair products, Kiehls cremes, ... ) I was able to retrieve 2 pairs of shoes, one shampoo and one hair spray that they had scatter in their employee break room. I filed a claim on BBB and the response I got is a ridiculous lie. : "Our records indicate that all items associated with the locker Ms. Marcus was using were retrieved. The General Manager has stated that no items were discarded to taken by staff. Each locker was emptied and place in a bag, those belongings were provided to the appropriate individual." DONT GO TO NYSC , I just lost $350 worth of belongings.

  The biggest locker room I've ever seen at a NYSC. I've only been to the first floor for the cycling class. Which I really like the instructor. The room is a little weird because the lights are all off but half the room is windows so people can see you as they pass. I usually get over that quickly.

  Good gym. Nice wide open space with good Windows and mirrors. Solid dumbbell and machine sections. Definitely needs another two flat benches (currently there are only two flat benches - too few for the size of gym and crowd) and another two squat racks; those are key pieces that should be more plentiful and can develop long wait times during peak hours.
