::I have been doing my laundry here for about 7 years now. Staff is helpful and the prices of the wash and dry are fair for NYC prices. About $4 for a large load and $2 to dry. You may want to check the washing machine before you use them... There are homeless people who come in to use the smaller machines and the restroom (even though there is a sign on the door saying out of service) On more than one occasion my clothes came out of the wash smelling like urine and I had to wash them again in a different machine. Just do a quick whiff check before tossing your clothes in and you would be fine. Either that or just avoid the junior size machines and you should be ok.

::Been going here to do my own laundry for over a year and have always been happy with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Have never had a problem with the machines which seem fairly new!

::Dropped of a load and agreed it would be ready at 6 pm the same day, a service I paid extra for (even if it was just 25 cents). As it turned out, I wasn't able to pick it up that day, but went back at 11 am the next day, only to be told it wasn't ready - come back in an hour! I was told this with a laugh, like it was a joke. So, I went out to eat brunch and came back at 12:30 am. "Sorry, it isn't finished - come back in an hour", again with a laugh and with no appology. When I complained, suddenly it would be ready in 10 minutes. I waited and got my clothes 10 minutes later (they just needed to be folded). All of this without a single "sorry" - just laughter. To top it off, they even charged me the extra fee for same day service! Got laundry to do? Get it done somewhere else, even if the clothes got cleaned well!
