  Dont normally write reviews but this time I had to make an exception. I for one would never recommend this place. The old man at the front desk extremely unprofessional, very rude and for someone who'd been doing this for 30 years he's clueless. To sum up a long story I need a Distributor for a Honda, guy says he has it, I buy it turns up not fitting. Went back to guy he went on to tell me it's my problem I should educate myself with what I need. He tells me after that the car comes with 3 different types of distributors, something that should of been asked before you sell someone something. Now I screwed out of 80 dollars because they won't refund the money. He wants me to give him another 50 dollars so he can get me the right one. If you go up one block theres JJs where you have 30 days to return what doesn't fit and get your money back.

  NYC Auto Salvage Inc is the best!! We needed a car engine last minute for an art exhibition and Vinny and his team were super helpful! They were great at communicating all the details and logistics, and even delivered the engine for us. They are very friendly and are great at their jobs. Highly recommended!

  The repair guy that installed my window was very very very rude. A true jack ass and arrogant.my complaint is for the guy outside working in the yard, If I remembered his name I would state it but it was a Hispanic guy outside in the yard that had installed and replaced my window. He did a horrible half assed job. Left broken glass all inside the door of car. He did not remove all the glass so now my window has a squeaky/scratchy sound when I roll it down. He removed my car door panel to replace the window, and didn't even put all the pieces back together. Left my car door unfinished. When I asked the Hispanic guy to finish and put all the pieces it back on my at door, he got arrogant and acted like it wasn't a big deal to leave my car unfinished. As if I was suppose to do it. Seriously!!!!!!! I paid for a service and I'm doing the work. I should have asked for half of my money back since they did a HALF ASSED JOB! Horrible. He was a jerk.

  Needed a rim for my car and needed it asap. Spoke with Vinny - very helpful and courteous. Even though we just had a snowstorm he was able to produce the rim and deliver it pronto. Highly recommend Vinny and New York City Auto Salvage!
