The museum is much smaller than what I expected, but it was still worth the $5 to go see. The museum consists of 2 small rooms and a narrow hallway so prepare to get close with some other patrons as one of you squeezes by while another reads a sign. Very interesting information on the origins and practice of voodoo. Unlike a lot of the voodoo shops, the museum allows photography. Since it is believed that leaving a token for the spirits can bring good, there are money and personal items that have been left on most of the exhibits. I thought it was cool how they gave you a piece of paper to write a wish and instructions for how to use the wishing stump. Would definitely recommend, but be aware it's only a 30 minute activity.

Interesting place but a little messy. Had been better if there were less descriptions around all exhibits than the A4 paper you get. I liked the mysterious surroundings of the museum.

Very educational in a small, intimate space. They allow photos and when we went the admission was only $5, as opposed to the prices online (don't know why). I found it very interesting, but perhaps you have to be interested in Voodoo and it's place in New Orleans to enjoy it. Didn't make it to the bathroom, and their selection of souvenirs wasn't fully stocked. I feel like they would've had a good variety of souvenirs if they were stocked up, though! We we're recommended to this place by someone from the Vampire Boutique.

I enjoyed myself here and really liked the history that is told. Be careful though... This place is pretty small so if there are more than about 10 people here at a time it's going to start getting PACKED. I'd say it was definitely with the $10. Make sure you leave your wish for the voodoo spirits!

This is an odd place but interesting. The best part is the lady who owns the place doing her speil before you go inside. She is a joy to listen to. Inside the place is two small rooms packed with all sorts of odd, creepy and eerie and old voodoo related items. The $5 fee might seem a little high but the wonderful ladies out front makes me want to give her my money.... Maybe I have had a spell cast on me.
