::New Orleans 2018,,Still lives in the dark ages,,traffic lights are all out of touch from reality. Long waits at important intersections,,with side streets allowing long green lights..Just so backwards new Orleans,,,,no one has a brain in government

::Loooong waits and a whole lot of bureaucracy

::This place is atrocious. Nobody knew where to send me to pay off a ticket and get my permit returned. Everyone is on their phones like they don't have government jobs. I was referred or just handed off to at least 6 people before they got me squared away. Very disorganized. Very nonchalant and not particularly professional. And it took over an hour.

::Getting better as time goes on, but still not allllll the way there. Despite being the place of "all things business In New Orleans"; doing business here is a chore. Classic example of bureaucracy gone wild & red tape chaos. Several floors & different departments, however, they're all pretty much the same, less one or two individuals that "go the extra mile". Metal detectors & armed security at both main entrances, I'm sure there's a reason for this, other than the Mayor & other dignitaries being housed in this building; maybe something happened in the past. This is the site of property tax collection, permitting, other residential concerns & a host of many, many, more things. The architect of the building itself is historic, but needs some touching up, as it seems scaly inside & out. I love the marble floors with New Orleans Street names on them, the marble murals on the walls & the other decor that represent NEW ORLEANS; great for picture taking. Most of the employees here are civil service employees & well that speaks for itself. Hope as time goes on, things here are streamlined & WORK/FUNCTION/OPERATE as they should, less the red tape & bureaucratic-ness that fills the building.

::Very cool mid-century modern building. Filled with Asbestos and soon to be demolished, I was told.
