NEW HOPE IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! The staff and management are irresponsible and continually waste their patient's time and money. Early on, New Hope often called to reschedule my husband's appointments to accommodate their staff's agenda. On one occasion, my husband overheard the front desk receptionists bragging how they HAD SUCCESSFULLY RESCHEDULED ALL THE APPOINTMENTS SO THEY COULD LEAVE EARLY. More recently, the front desk receptionists have been making my husband extremely uncomfortable by greeting him by his full name and making remarks like seeing him at the nearby train station. After several months of seeing one therapist, my husband was informed that she could no longer see him. She said she would set up an appointment with Natasha (one of the people in charge). We were told to come back to see Natasha on the 17th of February. However, when we got there, we were told that she was unavailable. THIS WAS THE 3RD TIME MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN DOUBLEBOOKED BY NEW HOPE STAFF. I confronted the staff about the problem. They apologized and said that he could see a random therapist, which my husband did not want to do. When I asked where the issue came from and who would be held accountable for double booking the appointment, they refused to answer. A receptionist directed me to a supervisor who was apologetic about the situation. THEN THE SUPERVISOR ASKED IF THEY COULD ACCOMMODATE MY HUSBAND BY BUMPING A NEW PATIENT FROM THEIR SCHEDULE. I told her no, I didn't want them to bump another patient to "accommodate" us. I told her I want them to keep the appointments that they agree to with their patients and to fix the problem to avoid repeated occurrences. As I was leaving, I saw Natasha and explained the problem we had been experiencing. She seemed concerned at first, but then she started placing the blame on my husband's old therapist. I continued to ask Natasha about accountability and recourse in situations like this. NATASHA SAID WE SHOULD TALK TO OUR OLD THERAPIST TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. Natasha then started to ignore me and began talking to my husband. She told him it was a simple mistake. I shut that down fast! IT IS NOT A SIMPLE MISTAKE WHEN MANAGEMENT CONTINUALLY FAILS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES THEY ARE CAUSING THEIR PATIENTS WHO ARE PAYING THEM FOR HELP AND ADVICE. My advice-don't go to New Hope.

I feel very comfortable with everyone in this office, especially with my therapist. She is very kind and very attentive to my issues. She is a great supporter and guides me in the right direction. Dr. Sheikh is a great doctor and takes the time to listen to me as well. The staff is always also very attentive and very kind. Thank you.

New Hope has provided a kind space and great listening ears in various times of need and for multiple family members. The center has always made a great effort to find appointment times that I could fit into my personal schedule, throughout my higher education and my career. Its new facility is quiet and welcoming and conveniently located by several different bus lines (I've also been able to walk & bike there on different occasions!) I recommend New Hope for teens, young and older adults alike, I appreciate the professional attention here. I've seen a few different therapists here at different stages in life and I've felt satisfied with each one.

it seems like they have good intentions, but the things that go on during my session sometimes makes me want to see another therapist just to talk about that. I swore within the first few minutes of last my session, my therapist dozed off/spaced out..twice. I intend on expressing my concerns once again and hopefully things get better. People who come here need help and information on how to cope. Not just talk. No methods provided on how improve. Not too sure about communication between therapist and psychiatrist. I like the place, but for the type of service people are seeking, something has to improve..please. id like to continue to come.
