  After years of using New Fresh Cleaners and receiving mediocre service, we continued sending our dry cleaning to them out of laziness and convenience (if I'm being honest) as they pick-up and deliver to our building. Despite repeated requests via the website and on the phone, they frequently overlooked basic requests such as not pleating my husband's pants. However, we recently had an experience so frustrating that it is time to look elsewhere. My husband sent them an expensive, designer cashmere sweater, which he did not take out to wear again for several weeks after our dry cleaning was returned. When he did so, he found it was a similar sweater by a different designer and much too large. I spent a long time explaining this situation to the manager and sent back the erroneous sweater. After several weeks and countless calls to New Fresh, I received multiple versions of the events from them, was told it was my fault for not discovering the error sooner, saying maybe I did get it back and "didn't know", to which I asked "why would I have sent you someone else's very expensive sweater to investigate such a situation without any reason whatsoever?" They had no response. Compounding my frustration was the fact that their website has a "history" feature, yet it tracks nothing. After hours on the phone, being passed off to various people, and explaining myself from start to finish countless times, the best they could offer was $50 - ONLY to be used for future dry cleaning services. The same sweater that was misplaced is still available for $400. Part of their justification was that this had "only" happened this one time to me since we started using them - not a great way to look at it from my perspective. I am not unreasonable and don't expect them to buy us a new sweater, but they could not even accommodate my request to have the $50 in cash versus dry cleaning credits as dry cleaning credits would not get me any closer to buying a replacement item. This is the treatment we received after years of patronizing the business for years and spending thousands of dollars on very basic services. Use them at your own risk.

  Great and fast service. They also have someone that does alterations. They deliver.

  Absolutely excellent cleaning service at a very reasonable price. Offers free pickup and delivery. They also take extra effort to go the extra mile to provide great service - called me to ask whether they should repair a hole in my pants pocket that I hadn't even noticed!

  Awful awful cleaning service. I have sent out my laundry to this company three times. The first time everything came back fine. The next two times I have received FOUR pair of pants back that are covered in purple/blue marks and spots! This happened to another reviewer on this page. The company claims it is my fault and that the pants were stained before they received them but each pair of these pants were in perfect condition. These pants are absolutely ruined. There is no fixing them.

  Called the 7 Hanover location and the guy answered the phone "hello" and I asked if this was the New Fresh Cleaners and he said "yea" I asked if they picked up two blocks away from their location and he said "no" and hung up. Super rude.
