Environmental matters are incredibly important to me. I have been trying for some time to find a way to lower my carbon footprint. I went to an all vegan diet, I choose to walk and bike places regularly, but one thing I never seemed to be able to get away from was if I wanted to go further than I could bike I would have to take a petrol-powered vehicle to get there. This was where the Ness Icon improved my ability to help the environment. The Ness Icon is an electric bike with a strong range on one charge of battery. This means that I no longer need to take public transit to get to the places where I am going, and what's great is when I get to work, I can simply unplug the battery from the e-bike and take it in with me and let it charge while I work. This makes it incredibly convenient as I do not need to take the whole bike in with me and can simply take the one rechargeable battery. The Ness Icon ebike is helping me do my part to help our environment and protect our planet for future generations. I'm also quickly recouping the money that I used to spend on transit passes. Save money and save the planet - go Ness!

Moving can be a stressful business, especially when space is at a premium. It could be very difficult to decide what things you're going to keep and what things will need to go in a second load or even be donated. However, one thing that you never need to worry about space wise is the amazing Ness Icon ebike. When I got my Christmas present from my parents shortly before my move, I was terrified seeing a large box arriving at my house realizing that I would soon be living in a tiny apartment. But when I popped it open and found a beautiful, heavy duty, collapsible electric bicycle I was ecstatic! I've always enjoyed biking and having a e-bike that can store nearly anywhere was fantastic! It also has a great range and will allow me to not only commute to work on good days but also to easily get out and enjoy my college town. This ebike is going to get put through its paces. Even before I finished moving it already has been getting quite a workout and giving me one, too. The bike is fantastic! What a great housewarming/starting your own life gift this has been!

I live in Portland which is a super bike-friendly city. Full on bike lanes and bicyclists are absolutely everywhere! However, using a bike as my regular commuter option was no problem, but when I lost my apartment and had to move further out of town it sure was. I wasn't near a transit station and taking the bus for a couple of hours every day was not a very pleasurable commute when I was used to biking everywhere. This was where the Ness Icon came in and changed my life. Finding a great deal on the bike online I bought one immediately and ever since have been enjoying my commute again. With its 30 mile range on the electric battery I don't have to be a super athlete to be able to enjoy a bike riding commute. I can now live outside of the city and still commute in. Buying a second battery was a great investment because now I have 60 miles that I can go between charges and that's assuming that I don't pedal any myself which I often do to warm myself up first thing in the morning. The Ness Icon has brought the joy back to my commute.

I got my Ness bike delivered to me just about a week ago, and I could hardly wait to unpack it. I did give the battery a full charge before I started actually riding, and I’m glad I did. I took it out to the boardwalk and rode the whole length out and back, so probably about 15 miles. It was a mostly flat ride, so I just set the bike to pedal assist. I had no problem with battery life at all, and I could go a lot longer before needing to charge it up. I went ahead and gave it a charge when I got home and that was a very fast process. My manual said to allow up to six hours, but I think that has to be for a fully drained battery. I think my next trip is going to be on full battery use, and let it go up to the 20 miles an hour it can go. That sounds like fun! I might even try it during rush hour traffic and wave at the cars that are stuck as I go zipping by in the bike lane effortlessly. I’ll get home before they can even get to the next stop light! Overall this feels like it is really well built. It’s sturdy without being too heavy, and that was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be able to take my bike where I want to go, and the fact that this can fold makes it ideal. My last regular bike of course couldn’t fold up, and it took up so much space when I tried to store it. I’m really happy with my purchase and I can’t wait to go out again!

My husband just recently retired and I retired a couple of years ago, so now we have more time to go do fun things. We were both pretty active while working, and we wanted to stay active in retirement, so we decided to get ourselves a couple of electric bikes. A lot of them were really expensive, but then we found the Ness Icon, and we were hooked. First, the order came right on time and the boxes were in great condition. The bikes were well packed inside so they survived the trip by UPS just fine. We were able to unfold the bikes easily and lock the frames open right away. They are well made and sturdy, and the ergonomics of the design are really nice, too. My husband is nearly 6 feet tall and I am 5’ 4”, and the Ness bikes fit us both comfortably. When we first took the bikes out for a ride, we tried out all of the features, including the seven gears on the shifter and the battery boost. We were both very pleased at how much of a boost we got from the battery, and were completely happy with our decision to get these bikes instead of the more expensive ones. We figured out the trick in folding up the pedals when we went to store them. They are spring loaded, and there is a little catch at the frame they lock into so they stay closed while in storage. It’s another clever feature that we discovered about our bikes that makes them really handy and portable, and we have been able to tuck the bikes in the back seat of our car and go out to a recreational area for the day. Later this year we are planning a trip to Orlando, and we plan to pack the bikes along, so we have them when we get there and want to do a little exploring. The bikes are not very large when folded so we will be able to tuck them in our hotel room for storage. We are very pleased with our Ness bikes and look forward to many years of joyful riding ahead.
