::It's getting really old to have the app not be able to read checks for lighting or any other issue then having to drive 40 minutes to a branch. Some how on the app my checks clear within 10 hours or less, yet I deposit at a branch and my checks are being held for 3-5 days before my funds are being deposited. One currently going on day 6...SMH NFCU. You're not helping military or our families at this point and just causing more of a head ache and making me think a local branch with another bank that actually can conduct business appropriately would serve me and my family much better.

::I got three different stories on this payroll check deposited on June 14, 2022. I talked to customer service the next day and was told my check would clear at 6 am on Thursday, June 16 with one day hold. This morning was told there is now a 5 day hold due to this bank having high fraud. I have auto payments coming out of my checking accounts. Had I been told this on day 1, I could have canceled those payments. it is now too late to cancel them. my HR offered to validate the check but Darlene, Supervisor (refused to give me her ID# or last name). She also offered no solution or sympathy to my not having money or gas for 5 days w kids at home. This is why ppl are moving away from brick and mortar banks w fees and delays of cashing. I was better off going to the other bank and cashing it.

::NFCU is the best bank or credit union I have ever used. I completed an auto loan over the phone (may be 20 minutes or less) with them and was approved within an hour. They deposited the money into my savings account that day. They also set up the automatic withdrawals for me. Their customer service center ( 24/7) should be the standard for the banking industry!!! Great JOB all the time.
