  National Transmissions, services our fleet of vehicles and always does really great work. Unlike dropping your car off at a dealer, where you have to make an appointment, wait in line to talk to a "service advisor" and then figure out how and when you're going to get your car back, National takes your car right away, asks a couple of quick questions and gets the work done. We recently had a vehicle that was stranded in Anauhac, Texas coming back from a job in Beaumont. We called National Transmission and Donnie or Don organized a wrecker to pick up the vehicle and dropped our employee off as well. The issue turned out to be a solenoid. They completed the replacement and also replaced the transmission fluid and by Monday we were back on the road repairing computers. For all your transmission repair services I would recommend National Transmission for their honesty, fast service and dedication to customer service the old fashion way.

  Big huge thanks to donnie and rudy for helping me out big time . They help me save some money. And I had some repair work done and they manage to get me in and out within a couple of hours..Thank you.

  Edit: The owner has reached out to us and apologized for the service. While our work has already been sent out to another shop, we will be willing to give them a try in the future. ********** My shop had a customer on a deadline for the car. We dropped off two transmissions for a rebuild and was told repeatedly over the phone that it would not be a problem. Two and a half weeks go by with no updates, so I had someone drop by to see what was going on. Nothing. They didn't even touch the transmissions. For two weeks. I took my business elsewhere.

  Brought them two Subaru 4EAT transmissions, one with a bad front diff, and one with a good front diff but a cracked case. Asked them to transfer front diff from cracked case to good trans. They sat on my transmissions for 2.5 weeks with absolutely no progress despite being fully aware of my customer's timeframe. Never called to offer updates, in fact I had to call them every time. They kept promising to get to them as soon as possible, but left me in a tight spot with no progress, and no information about the actual timeframe. They might do great work, but I'll never know because in 2.5 weeks they didn't even pull them off the cart they came in on. Update: Donny did follow up with me to apologise and offer a discount. I do appreciate his professionalism and may give them another shot in the future. I will update or delete this review as needed.
