The National Geographic should be on everyone's list of places to go in DC! I go every time I'm in town. There is always a free exhibit in the windows surrounding the outside of the building and can be accessed 24 hours a day. There are usually 2 exhibits inside accessible with 1 ticket and a 3D movie which must be purchased separately. The exhibits are always top notch! I saw Day to Night a photo exhibit. IT. WAS. AWESOME! There is also usually a free exhibit in the lobby of the National Geographic working building next door.

I had high expectations for this museum. It is one of the few pay museums, so I thought it was going to be great. Was a huge waste of $30 ($15 x 2 tickets). We watched the Tomb of Christ, which was basically standing in a room to watch a 30 minute documentary and then look at a few pictures. Don't waste your time with this one. Go see one of the many free and way better museums in DC.

Awesome. We saw the Christ's Tomb exhibit. 3D virtual world exhibit. Price is good, too - only $15. With that ticket, you can also see the second building exhibition, which was all the covers of Nat Geo over the decades. Very cool, low key thing to do alone or with kids. 👍

The exhibits were awesome! We enjoyed every minute there. We were surprised that it wasn't larger. It truly only takes a couple of hours to see the whole museum.

This was an enjoyable experience! The Day to Night exhibit was fun for me because I love wildlife, and the Jerusalem exhibit about the burial place of Christ was super interactive which kept it interesting! I'm normally not much of a museum person due to my attention span, but this was actually worth it. Show your college ID and it's only $13.
