Well this is a place of stepping stone if you don't have anywhere to sleep for the night I'm not a place to make your own they do not have Apartments they do offer breakfast lunch and dinner here everyday 7 days a week however it is not an easy process stay here... so let this be your fair one it is the place to go if you need a place to sleep... There are showers they're open to anybody if you give your ID at the front desk you get a towel but you should bring your own soap toothpaste toothbrush... Heat this as your warning it is not a clean place there are a lot of dirty disgusting people you are simply there to take advantage of the system who may still have a prison mentality there are a lot of mentally challenge people but if you know how to keep to yourself it's a good stepping stone I'm getting back into your own place... You do get up early you do have to be in by a certain time you do have rules to follow and if you're aggressive to the staff they call the cops and let's the law deal with you... And now I'm just going to be brutally honest this is supposed to be a Christian faith business... he's a douche of church down your throat every night because that is part of getting a bed there... you have to be in church to get a bed there which starts at 7 at night and we normally run so around 8 what the exceptions if you have a job to come in after 8 p.m. I came to Nashville after losing my car because I spend it after I was pulled over one day because I knew they had a rescue mission here where I could stay until I somehow got on my feet and I knew it was a big city so I jumped into this really not knowing how ever it's been a tough experience because it's not what I'm used to any other Rescue Mission I've ever been to has never been so complicated and the help was very limited because they say things like if you have a job then we can do this if you have a job we can do that but it's not really like that unless you talk to the right people counselors to help you through your situation... I hate to talk bad about the place because it did help me get back on my feet and it took me for 5 months to do this up to the point of posting this but I've been through the experience go to tell you what you're going to have to expect

If you have nowhere else to go ,that's the place to be ,if you have no job, that's the place to be, if you want to get your life in orde. that's the place to be. the Nashville rescue mission is the place to be if you're down and out and need to get back on your feet, there people there that will help you and make you feel good about yourself regardless of your situation, I just came there 7 days ago, I have a job I have leads on housing and I have clothing, when I had none. there church services that will come and pick you up, there's plenty of food to eat, the bed so comfortable and the blankets are clean, I have nothing but good things to say about it, my experience being there right now has been great, my circumstances are changing, because I'm making all the right choices,, ALL PRAISE YAHWEH,FOR WITHOUT HIS Grace and MERCY, I don't know where I would be, but I know I belong here NOW,,AT THE NASHVILLE RESCUE MISSION..

Volunteering there was a great experience. A lot of uplifting positive people running the men's campus. A great blessing for Nashville and it's citizens.
