  I was ignored and denied service: I had a rare free moment after an appointment downtown. I decided to pop into this nail salon, which I saw while driving toward home, for a mani / pedi around 4pm on a weekday. Upon walking in, there was one technician, located at the front, filing the nails of a customer. All the other technicians were sitting together in the back, chatting. None of them had a customer, there were no other customers in the shop except the one already mentioned. About 30 seconds after I walked in, all the other technicians, who at first sat staring at me, stood up, en masse, and walked into a back room, no longer visible. I immediately thought “well that’s odd”. Meanwhile, the technician at the front never said a word to me. Not hello, hi, get lost, nothing. So finally, I said ‘hi, I’d like to get a mani / pedi please’. The technician then said: No one is available right now, you’ll have to come back in an hour. Me: what about all of the technicians that just went in the back together... all at once? None of them are available? Technician: No, they’re not. Come back in one hour, MAYBE we could fit you in then. At this point, even the customer was staring at the technician with what appeared to be disbelief. Ultimately the customer looked at me, then looked away and down at the floor. The technician never looked at me. Not once.

  Very sloppy manicure. Already peeling. Polish all over my skin around my fingers.

  Clean, relaxing environment Pedicure was kinda rushed but the Groupon made it worthwhile
