  Needs alot of work especially renovation. And the adult library doesn't have enough computers. You can't even sit together at the computer which is stupid. It has to be individually. The computer lab is small and they run out of computers quickly. And I don't really care for the people who work there. Majority are rude, lazy, don't wanna do there job, have attitudes or get mad for for asking a question. Like how are you gonna get mad its your job to answer questions. And that's exactly why the library is in the condition its in. If they had more people who cared it would be a totally different library

  The library is cool place to git your read on , relax , chill , or jump on the internet . The women ,girls, lady's who work there are cool , they help you out ......

  Peaceful, and has a large variety of books and dvds. Also has a nice community feel to it.

  The library is pretty big resulting into two different entrance for the Children's library and Adult library. They did not have enough seats for the special even we attended. We stood for a little while however my 5 year old got tired of standing. Parking sucks! 30 minutes max for parking meters like who does that? Come on City of Mount Vernon step it up a little. An hour seems more sufficient than 30 minutes. Not worth me driving from the Bronx to Mount Vernon.

  Terrific :) Beautiful Carnegie building, studious and engaged young people and just an amazing library. Parking too for those library tourists:). Helpful staff as far as my experience was, and a lot of good information about the community.
