  I went to Moxie to get a spray tan, and the last time I got one was amazing! I had very high expectations for the second time. The lady I had was very nice, and she gave me clear instructions, and I had to ask her to get my legs again because I did not think she got them enough. Turns out, she barely touched them with the spray because after my shower the next morning, the color is completely faded off my legs in relation to the rest of my body. My feet and my top area is more tan than my stomach and my legs. I would not suggest going to Moxie for a spray tan unless you are confident your associate is precise with making it even. My lady seemed rushed because by the time I left the changing room, she was gone and walking out the door to her car....

  I was very disappointed and put off by the lack of organization and professionalism at Moxie in Montvale. I had made an appointment for color and they had seemingly no idea, trying to set me up first for makeup and then a blow dry.  When I indicated I had come for color, I was told that there wasn't anyone available.  They asked me to wait ten minutes but after half an hour I finally left.  I also witnessed the staff using profanity about a customer once she walked away from the front desk.  I will never come here again and suggest you don't waste any of your time here either.

  My husband said when I returned home “I thought you were getting your hair done? “ That’s how unfinished it looked. Luckily I had enough time to rehash my hair & style myself. The salon knew I was unhappy and did nothing. Never going back or recommending. i work with clients in the special occasion business, will be sure to relay my poor experience

  Had make up done for daughters christening. Showed picture of myself w the look I was going for. The artist was not warm or fuzzy. I felt like she couldn’t be bothered. Her hands smelled like cigarette smoke. The sun was beaming through the widows hitting the mirrors and white ceiling making it hard to keep eyes open while she was applying eye make up. She did not speak to me other then to say look up down or over. She did not ask me what I was going to be wearing so the make up could complement the dress(white by the way). I had to tell her I was looking for lavender touches. Her work space was a mess. Her bag where she stores the make up she uses was dirty. My eyelashes were uneven and so were my lips. I needed to fix when I got home. When she was done she said ok “that’s it”. I waited a few seconds thinking she’d bring me a mirror to show me finished product NOPE. She said again your all done. I said oh, I guess I’ll go look for a mirror. Had to get up walk to a mirror to see the finished product. I’ve had my make up done elsewhere before. After yesterday’s experience I will not go back to that salon. Customer service needs to be a lot better for the money they charge.

  I was not very pleased with the salon. They were very disorganized and everything was up in the air. When I got my hair done, I showed a picture and the outcome was completely different. They looked nothing alike. The hair stylist wasn’t very nice or pleasant either.
