  Jamie Birrell is my go-to for cuts and color; I followed him here from another salon. Jamie, in addition to being a savvy and experienced stylist, is also a great conversationalist and super intelligent and thoughtful. I like the cozy, intimate and low-key vibe of the salon.

  I have been to this hair salon several times now, and I just love it. It's an attractive price all the time for the neighborhood.

  Disaster haircut. I don't think the lady who cut my hair has ever cut hair for men before. All the brag about consultations on the website.. cute salon though. Maybe they are good for long hair...

  As crazy as it is to admit, it was a good price for NYC at $65. Unfortunately, Laura, the stylist was very rude to me. I was nervous about the cut because I was going drastically from long to short, and have only had my haircut with my longtime hairstylist back in California, never in NYC. Laura was rude and abrupt to any questions I asked. If she hadn't already roughly chopped off some dead ends, I would've left. My cut ended up 3 inches shorter than what I asked for, and the $20 'conditioning treatment' was a 2 minute serum that I'm pretty sure I could have found at duane reade and done at home. Very sad to have a bad experience because it sounds like it's not the usual.

  After growing out a bad haircut for the last seven months it was definitely time to get it cut. I was apprehensive about finding a new stylist after having many bad experiences over the years. I booked an appointment and my hair came out beautiful. I'm so pleased with my experience! The salon is very nice and everyone was super friendly.
