  Book a room on Bookings. Morris Guest house has no building address so I could not GPS the house. Bookings and Morris do not proving any pictures of the exterior. I could not find the address and the site only listed an intersection. After driving to the Bronx and finding the intersection, the House is in a terrible area with very limited parking. Their phone number is a google number, therefore no one answers. I could not find the damn place and I cancel after 45 minutes of booking and after 30 minutes I received a call from a staff. Booking and Morris house do not want to give me a refund. I will take them both to court.

  Excellent Guest House. Very clean, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend this Place to anyone.

  They wait to you show up and up the price because you have no where else to go. Charge you one price over the phone and change the price in person. Do not recommend. Also you have shared bathrooms and showers, no kitchen so eat before you come... rooms are small and the sheets had hair on them. They neighbor next door you can hear them having sex (walls are super than) plus you can hear everything outside very loud.

  I really liked the space. It was sparsely but smartly decorated. The colors used throughout were cool grays and blues. There was not a thing that you wouldn’t use there (no art or unnecessary decoration). There were also extremely nice and simple wooden drawers and other holding nooks that hung off the walls. The bed was super comfortable. There was Netflix included and you could login to Amazon. The lights were a bright white, but if you wanted to, you could turn on a night light next to the bed by touch. The bathrooms and showers were two different rooms. The showers were made out of greyish marble, and although small, were extremely comfortable to shower in. The bathrooms likewise had that greyish marble, and two different lights you could use (the overall ones that come on with air conditioner and the ones on top of the mirrors). Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Great decorations. The entrance and the booking room need a lot of work (seems like they are still giving the space they have finishing touches), but don’t let that discourage you from booking here.

  Okay. I stopped here, a visit by myself because I was recovering from surgery and needed a place away from home. Reasons I picked Morris Guest House? It’s in the neighborhood, close to home, and most especially the pictures of the rooms and the price tagged along with it where the best around. The rooms are very nice. You can expect to hear sexual activity from the rooms nearby. So your room isn’t exactly soundproof, you will hear conversations from the next door, the tv, any music their playing, etc. This didn’t bother me I was here just to recover and for a short time. The noises weren’t loud to the point i wanted to leave. It could be something you might consider. Bathrooms are shared along the hall. And overall the guest house has a very modern look and you can tell it’s been recently renovated due to the old style look the home gives from the exterior. If you need to make a quick stop in the neighborhood of Morris-Burnside, I would recommend it but keep in mind the few things I had mentioned. One thing they should work on and by far the most disappointing is not having a phone number guests can call anytime just in case there’s any issues. Yes there is surveillance cameras in the entire house but if you don’t have a person on shift 24/7 at least provide a number they can contact just in case there’s any issues. I almost got locked out my room and another guest had to help me open my door. This was very scary for me as a guest because there was no employee on shift to open my door. The fact I had to get a random person to help me is unacceptable. So remember if you do decide to stay don’t forget your pin code!!!!!
