Local watering hole with top notch pub food (note: it’s almost a disservice to refer to the food as such due to its superiority to all other bar bites out there). Cozy atmosphere, neighborhood vibe, friendly service....one of my favorite pubs of all time, and that’s saying something.

Has been busy the two times I've been there, but not annoyingly so. Service was good, Atmosphere is great, and the food was awesome. Def get the crabby fries.

Food is great. Staff is super friendly. They always remember us and our drinks order, even though there are months between visits. Great neighborhood pub.

Loved Monterey Pub! The authentic British pub food was the first I've had since I've come back to the states from the UK. I felt right at home and loved the atmosphere. 10/10.

Food is good and somewhat unique with Irish specialties. It is a small place and gets crowded and loud. I was there recently. When I arrived, I was told there would be a long wait. When I opted to wait it out, the guy at the door was clearly annoyed, and sarcastically told me "Ok, good luck." After about a half hour, I managed a seat at the bar. Service was average, food pretty good. While eating, my jacket slipped off the back of my chair without my realizing it. The door guy (manager?) was now seriously annoyed. When I got my check and paid it, there was not a word of thanks or acknowledgement. The server just took the check and went about his business without a word. I once lived in this neighborhood and ate there pretty regularly. I can tell you that the regulars/ locals are treated much better than "strangers ". It was true then and seems to be even more true now.
