  It was pretty good. We stayed in the stay well rooms. The lighting was pretty fun, you could turn on pink/purple lights by the bed and both mirrors (bathroom and hung full length) had an energizing light feature that was nice. It was on the 23rd floor, so we also had a decent view. My husband was a bit disappointed.. He thought they were going to do something special for us for our anniversary, but nothing was special about the room.

  There are lots of new updates being made. I stayed here in 2017, and this year I could hardly recognize it. The rooms are in pretty good shape. I don't think there's a buffet anymore (or at least I couldn't find it). There is a Starbucks inside the Monte Carlo, but there are good food options across the street as well (fast food and sit down restaurants). It's located in the middle of The Strip, which is nice for visiting different places.

  We stayed in a newly remodeled room and enjoyed our stay. Construction is in progress, but didn't cause any issues for our group. We had a mix up with the room reservations but they made it right. Ate breakfast in Primrose and it was good. Enjoyed the location of this hotel. Use the free tram to go to Bellagio area on the strip!

  As mentioned in many reviews, there is a lot of construction happening. I have still enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice and the housekeeping was great. Due to construction, there are not a lot of hotel restaurants, but it’s Vegas - walk to the next casino and eat at one of the dozens of restaurants there. I booked my trip here pretty last minute and got a good deal, so I would say that it was worth it to have a lower price.

  Overall great experince, however the Monte Carlo was under renovations when we stayed. Lack of restaurants. Our floor that we stayed on was poorly lit. Casino is fairly small compared to other hotels on the strip. Another group that stayed had some issues with their room not being cleaned. On a positive note Hotel staff was polite and extremely helpful, location of the Monte Carlo is centralized to casinos in the area. The Monte Carlo has the potential to be rated 5 stars if they improved on some areas of their casino and hotel.
