The montavilla motel is a affordably priced destination for anyone on a budget and not looking for a lavish environment or more than bare bones amenities. The rooms were older but clean as can be and the housekeepers were friendly. Other guests can be a distraction with the parking so close to the rooms but you can also be less concerned about theft with your vehicle in constant sight

The hotel is nice. I've been going there for over a year now. The people in the other rooms is what makes it not a 5 star

This place is not worth the 80$ we paid for the room. Small, dark, old, broken furniture. Idk why we stayed there and idk why anyone would plan to stay there. Beware before anyone from out of town books a room at this hotel!!!! Seems to attract a certain non vacationing clientele. No amenities at all!

This motel has cockroaches SERIOUS!! It's disguising,... I was attempting to finally sleep after long drive and shortly after turning lights out felt something on my legs under covers, it was a roach plain as day. I immediately went to office and asked if they were aware giving them benefit of doubt the owners wife instantly was offended and said I was lying. So I go back to room turn off lights wait about 10 minutes and go into bathroom were of course there's another crawling on floor I picked it up with tissue and took it to her. She told me I had to leave. I can't they treat people this way. I demanded my money that she argued about returning until I threatened a call to health dept. So unless you want to take cockroaches home with you I suggest you find a cleaner place to stay.

It was 70$ for a Sunday night. A hotel within walking distance is significantly nicer and was 57$ + tax for the same night (and they will match priceline, if it's within a few $. They gave me the 50$ rate +tax.) Ive stayed here at least 10 times. I started staying here instead of the other hotel because they WERE cheaper and they have a CHEAP deposit ($10-$25) The rooms are so f*****up. They are cleaned but graffiti on the walls inside your room!! Dresser drawers are screwed in. Extremely out dated. The other guests Ive came into contact with.... Obvious drug addicts, prostitutes, pimps and/or drug dealers. Ive never seen a "normal" person here. Ive never felt threatened by the people tho. They stick to their own business. But, I'm a night owl and honestly id rather be in a hotel with ppl like that vs. A hotel full of stuck up old lady's n men that complain if you have your TV on to loud or you leave at 3am to the vending machine. I just wish they would update the rooms!!! It doesn't cost much to re-paint and get new dressers and bedding. If they did that, the rooms would be WORTH what they charge. as they are now, honestly they shouldn't be over $50/night. Oh and the front desk... Most are pretty nice and welcoming. Except the old woman. She is a straight up b****. Ive never been rude or anything. Actually I'm overly nice, patient, polite with a smile. There's no reason that woman should be having that attitude.
