  Super adorable family owned spot in the middle of the Tenderloin. You know it's going to be good when the restaurant is full of Vietnamese people. All the ingredients are extremely fresh (guess it helps to be next to the Heart of the City farmers market) and the all food is made to order by the sweetest Vietnamese grandma/grandpa. We ordered the Bahn Mi to start, the roll is fresh and warm and the pate was perfect. It had tonnes of fresh herbs and pickled veggies but was a good balance of meat and vegetable. All for $4, really tasty stuff. We order the duck and bamboo noodle soup and the #4 (I can't remember the name), but it's on par with the best broths I've ever had. Everything is super affordable and the service is great. Really glad we stumbled across it.

  Cute little Vietnamese cafe I ordered the pho ga which was rich and flavorful but touch more sweet than I like. Next time I'll order the bun bo hue or bahn mi sandwiches. The bahn mi xiu Mai (sweet pork meatballs) and Chao Long (pork porridge) are also talked about online. The bun mam (fish soup) is supposed to be very flavorful with fermented fish flavor.

  Savory Vietnamese cuisine. Quick lunch. However, the place only has 5 tables
