  Excellent food, prompt service, comfortable atmosphere. The bread seems to be made in house which is a plus. The only reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star review is the lack of attention to a few details. For instance, at breakfast there were condiments from the previous guests left on the table, we were not offered butter and preserves with our toast, order was not correct etc. It should be noted that out of five meals there were two that were perfect.

  Really good restaurant. Good service, very good food, price is good for the quality of the food you get. Not cheap but the food is really good.

  Beautiful place, delicious food, but the service is not so good. Some people come later that me, but received my order. When I received my main food, almost together with it I received my dessert, that was completely melt and spilled out of the glass. But the dessert was very delicious.

  Nice place! The right mix of sophistication and casual. My filet was cooked just perfect and my wife's red snapper was excellent. The service was very good. The ahi tuna tacos appetizer was fantastic.

  Lack of basic service. My husband and I went for lunch on a Friday on a date and were sat as 1 of only 3 tables in the restaurant. There was a TON of staff, including managers buzzing around. Someone stopped and got our cocktail order and then we sat...and sat for 20 minutes before we finally flagged someone down and asked if we had a waiter. He apologized said he was not our waiter but would take our order and then grabbed our cocktails, which had been sitting up at the bar now for 10-15 minutes. Our order was fairly simple but still came out wrong and had to be sent back. This is not then first sub par experience I have had at Monarch. A lot of restaurants promise and upscale experience but lack basic service. If all you can provide is hip decor and trendy ingredients but don't back it up with good service...you are not upscale. We were there on a date and our whole experience was completely ruined by things that should be a given at any sit down restaurant, let alone a luxury restaurant.
