  Cozy, clean atmosphere. Good food and delicious desserts! Very nice neighborhood restaurant. I like their Poke bowl, Salmon teriyaki set, some happy hour menus. Their desserts are superb. Everything is tasty without feeling sugar heavy. Highly recommend!! Family friendly, street parking only.

  We came here right after lunch and the owner was prepping for dinner time. She was wonderful and allowed us to buy pastries. Very nice space, great desserts, and wonderful customer service.

  I used to eat there a lot when I was living in Seattle. It is a small cute Japanese restaurant where offers varies kinds of sushi rolls. Their entries are also great, especially the Japanese curry. It is quite flavorful and spicy. Love it! Their desserts are heaven. You cannot never leave that place without ordering some their famous desserts. They are all daily made, super fresh and low sugar. Just hope they can lower the prices a bit, quite expensive for its small portion.

  Stopped in on a whim for a quick snack before dinner. Hamachi sashimi was very high quality! And the matcha roll cake was fluffy and not too sweet.

  We love Modern, and always get their rolls with the rice on the outside. And they always get it right. 🍣
