  WORST MOVING COMPANY ON EARTH, COMPRISED OF THIEVES AND LIARS. This was the most stressful move of my life, made a thousand times worse by the incompetence and thievery of their office manager Ben… a truly CROOKED MAN. I booked and signed a contract for a 1 day move from NYC to Rochester, NY with 2 stops, one at the storage unit, and one at my house - with 3 movers. When the movers arrived, they took 4 hours to load a truck that should’ve taken an hour (maybe 2 tops as everything I owned was stacked neatly in a 10’ x 10’ room) and refused to even acknowledge a 2 stop move until I spoke with their boss for the 5th time that morning. It was unreal. It was like talking to a wall and every person in that company wreaked of ZERO EXPERIENCE. After speaking with their boss Ben for the 5th time that morning and finally agreeing to make the additional stop that had already been agreed upon at the time of booking, I discovered that the list BEN created was padded with duplicate items, and I heard one of the movers whisper to the driver that he’d noticed the list had items on it that weren’t there, to which he responded: “DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT”. I was charged for things that didn’t exist. F&%$ing thieves. A trip that took me 6.5 hours to drive, took them 15 hours. They dropped 1 of the movers off (so now there are 2 not 3 - I paid for 3) and had excuse after excuse about why it was taking so long to get there, none of which were valid. A 350 mile trip took 15 hours, which means they averaged 23 miles an hour. They arrived at 3:30am (almost 4 hours after the storage unit closed). They knew they had to be there by midnight, so now they’d “have to spend the night” and finish in the morning- making it a 2 day move. Ben forced me to either pay for a hotel for them or have them just drop everything off in my driveway. I’d then have to book another truck in the morning- doubling my price. He then told me I had to buy a lock if I wanted my belongings secured in the hotel parking lot overnight- and that I HAD to pay him before I put a lock on the truck. Ha! Are you insane?! No way…He was essentially holding my belongings hostage. The best part is at 4:30 in the morning while standing in a hotel parking lot with my 80 year old parents (they insisted on coming for my safety, as I had to drive 2 strangers to a hotel in the middle of the night) Ben has the nerve to ask me why I am crying and so upset... with my entire life being held hostage and Ben threatening to call the police on me if I didn’t pay him, despite the fact they were 8 hours late arriving and now I had to pay extra money for a hotel!!!!! He and anyone who works for this company ought to be ashamed of themselves. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU WHATSOVER- He only wants his check. He absolutely lives up to the slime ball mover stereotype. I don’t think this company will be around long enough for anyone else to be TOTALLY RIPPED OFF BY THEM, as I’m sure someone will slap them with a lawsuit very soon. In the meantime… for your sanity, the protection of your belongings and your dignity, DO NOT EVER USE MMB MOVERS. The picture is how my table arrived, broken. EDIT: to respond to the person below-- no extra charges?? YOU MADE ME PAY FOR A HOTEL FOR YOUR DRIVERS BECAUSE YOUR DRIVERS 8 HOURS LATE!!!!! I also had to buy a lock because YOU were going to leave all of my belongings in an unlocked unmanned truck all night long!! My mother had to cancel her Dr. appointment the next day-- and I had to cancel me welcome home lunch! And I was told that if there was less on the inventory list I would not be Charged-- there was and extra SET of kitchen chairs-- and extra step stool -- and extra coat rack and 2 less boxes!!! I put the boxes into my car to move things along as your guys were taking forever! I paid for things that weren't even on the truck!! Please don't try and feign sympathy now...
