  THESE ARE UNLICENSED STYLISTS!! I read with interest Milwaukee Magazine's series featuring Neven Zoric of MKE Shears, who shuts down his salon to work with special needs children in a non-stimulating environment. However as the parent of a 9-year-old son on the spectrum, I was highly concerned to find that Neven does not appear to have a cosmetology license, much less training in working with children who have special needs. What's more, it looks as though at least one other stylist listed as working there also isn't licensed (Nilo). Did it not dawn on the reporter who wrote this piece to do a simple check to see if these individuals, who are practicing with children and children on the spectrum, no less, are licensed to do so in the state of Wisconsin?  It is difficult enough to find businesses that acknowledge the needs of customers like myself who have a child on the spectrum. Now we have the opposite - one that is taking advantage of us.

  I've been going to Nilo for about 3 years now, he's the best! He gives great advice on what kind of cut I should get but he also is great at giving exactly what you asked for. These guys are very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and I really enjoy coming to their salon!

  Best in town. Nilo is the nicest hairdresser in Milwaukee and by far the most professional. I won't let anyone else touch my hair :)

  I have just recently become a client of Belle and I seriously couldn't be more pleased with not only her cutting skills, but also her coloring skills. My 4 year old son has seen Nevin for a haircut and he too did a great job. I'm very happy to have found this gem of a place and I enjoy now getting to the Brady street area more often.
