This theater has so many things going for it from their bargain prices, old-school feel, and huge screens. As soon as I walked into this theater I gained a sense of excitement looking at the arcade games and 80's scenery. This made my movie experience that much better and I may have found my new movie spot.

Fair Prices. Concessions aren't too crazy here. They offer alcohol Huge auditoriums. Even on the off-chance that they are busy you will probably have good seats. They sometimes have free viewing events here for popular TV shows. This theater has a cool old-timey charm. The projectors/audio equipment are all modern though. I really like this theater but there are a few cons. Their bathrooms are a little run down but they are placed outside every auditorium so it's convenient. This is a personal nitpick, but their renovated seats seem to lean back a little too far for me and if a heavy-set person is seated in-front of you they may practically be in your lap. That said, most people I know find the seats comfortable.

this place is a gem and anyone who doesn't appreciate mission valley just doesn't get it. how the late 90's and 2000's didn't ruin the atmosphere is amazing and it has kept all of the charm i grew up loving, they were even playing old trailers in the lobby (deer hunter). it would be a sad world without places like mission valley. THANK YOU!

I have been going to this theater for years and have enjoyed the staff and the BEST popcorn in Raleigh. The cost of the concessions is no worse than any other theater and again, their popcorn is cheaper, fresh and better. The theater is not shabby......it is an older theater with BIG screens, something you don't get in the modern theaters any more. Being born in Raleigh, I like how they have honored the older Raleigh theaters by naming each of their rooms by those names. Not all of the rooms have cup holders, but some do.......get over it. This place is always my first choice AND .......the SOUND is Big and Broad.
