  This place is an excellent environment for brunch especially with a large group. The menu includes bottomless margaritas, mimosas, tecate, etc. so it really caters to all kinds of people. The food is also very good (i got the steak). The price is very reasonable for what you get and the service is on point. I would recommend this place to anyone having a birthday brunch or any other sort of event. Just make sure you put in a reservation in advance.

  The spicy guacamole isn’t spicy. But add that hot sauce and you’re good to go playa. The margaritas hit the spot and it’s an overall great vibe. I love the glass ceilings at the bar.

  I was having some trouble finding suitable meeting space for a large group, but luckily found Mission, and they made it really easy to utilize a small space for a large group. They had a small room (no door) off the main dining area that can fit up to (probably 15). Although you can hear the noise from the dining area--I went on a Thursday evening during happy hour which was probably poor timing--it is still quiet enough to hear everyone at the table. For even larger groups, they have a loft upstairs that is more private and definitely quieter. The staff I spoke with in advance was great and very accommodating, and the wait staff was great as well. We will definitely be utilizing Mission again! There's not many places in the DC area that are so accommodating for large groups at no cost--which is vital as an NGO volunteer in need of space!

  I hosted a happy hour here for a group from work and the staff could not have been more helpful. Mission was the only restaurant in the area I found that offered a reserved spot for any number of people (my group was about 50) without a fee. I organize a monthly happy hour and we all pay our own tabs and Mission was accommodating in giving us a designated spot that was large enough for our group and allowed had no minimum bill requirements. They even posted signs in the designated area so everyone would know where our group was when they walked in! I definitely plan to host another event here. Sometimes we have a guest speaker and the upstairs space is private enough to hear someone speak while still having a fun environment! Thanks to Fritz!

  I hosted my 26th birthday party at Mission. Over the course of four hours the bartender Gina gracefully and patiently served the ~30+ friends that came in and out of the loft bar. Setting up the event was effortless as the owner Fritz was always responsive and forward thinking when it came to the event. I highly recommend Mission if you are ever looking for a place to host a fun event!
