  0 Stars. zip zero, Nada stars. A flat tires turned into an $600 nightmare. Avoid the headache and stick with a conventional rental car agency. Great concept, horrid execution. Customer experience and communication is not their strong suite. It is a foreign concept for a company who has proven they're more inclined to attempt to pull the wool over an unsuspecting customers eyes. Turo prefers to nickel and dime customers assuming they will accept responsibility for non existent issues by creating a arduous and complex disputes process even with evidence to refute their or the owners claims. Do not expect to rent a car and simply return it. Numerous trips by numerous associates and the point has been made loud and clear, our business is better suited by convectional rental means. Great concept, horrible execution. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time. The app experiences constant issues. No call center for assistance outside of collection on a bill. No assistance if your aren't paying them right then and there. Turo requested a late fee for an issue that was a result of a flaw in the app. This would not have been a problem, but they would not provide the actual cost of a late fee, billing us for "$XX.xx". Stated there was no way to dispute it, and then assessed an additional fee for not paying an undisclosed fee within 3 days. Email was received on a Friday, payment was expected on a Monday. This is a huge legal debacle that isn't worth the effort of resolving on an individual level. When they finally disclosed the fee, it was more than the cost of renting a car for the day. I was attempting to continue the reservation but the flaw in the app made it impossible to do, even after communicating with the rental owner. It should be noted that in my case, the owner was a company buying and selling auction cars. Many of the issues likely stemmed from their double talk. Insisted the rental extension was processed when that was not the case. Additionally, insurance does not cover a flat tire. When I stated " The issuance is valueless" she responded "I cannot say that." Worst of all, Turo wanted to process a rim refinishing fee for road rash that was on the wheels prior to our rental. Even with pictures prior to the trip indicating there was prior damage, they attempted to penalize us, threatening to send us collections if we did not pay in 3 days. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.
